Championing workplace diversity

Diversity and Inclusion are of high importance at eBay and there are several Communities of Inclusion or COIs set up to further the causes.

I am an active part of the BAME COI and have helped organise various festivals like Eid and Diwali to enhance knowledge about our culture. 

As part of BAME we also encourage discussions, trainings and conversations about topics we feel strongly about.

I've also been involved with the Women @eBay COI and helped organise IWD celebrations too.

eBay also organises seller clinics, wherein volunteers act as consultants for small emerging socially conscious businesses and recently I've been involved in this, and consulting a startup called Storyline with what their marketplace/revenue strategy should be, how should they position themselves, what should their messaging be and on what platform etc.
